Raspberry Picking

It's time for Raspberry picking!

We went to Riley's Farm in Oak Glen, CA last September. Arriving late in the season, it was like a scavenger hunt finding the berries, but it was really fun!

Grammy went with us...she took this picture...Tiffani's holding her pint of berries.
We're hoping to get there a little earlier in the season this year! I just looked at their website and saw that it's taking about 6 minutes to fill a pint basket right now...it took us about 45 minutes last year.

This is such a pretty picture of the two of you, I like it ALOT! We used to live close to these farms, one day this Fall I'm gonna take my lil guy for a visit! Maybe during the Apple Festival.

Moms & Daughters should know that during low snow falls, you can skip to the snow at the farms versus taking a long winding trip up the mountains.

A perfect place for hot cider or tea!

There are so many fun things to do at Riley's Farm! Our family has been visiting there for years...as a family and with friends.

Apple season is fun and they have great pears. Their "Living History" programs/meals are great too!

Thanks for sharing about the snow -- I didn't know that! We were there one year when it was REALLY cold though...brrrrr...

Thank you for sending the Mother-Daughter Blog address. It was a blessing to read about your relationship. Honestly, I'm feeling a little convicted right now, because my kids have NOT been getting adequate quality time with either their mom or dad. We are working on it and your blog inspires me further. I love how the Lord uses His children to minister to eachother. Thanks again...

We think it's important to share what you just shared with others. Different "seasons" hold varying blessings and difficulties. There will be times that we just can't fit it all in.

Then we are reminded to look at what is most important. We all need reminders and insights. We're looking forward to learning from our readers.

Bless you for being so honest.
