I just learned about Mill Creek Manor Tea Room in Big Bear Lake, CA a few months ago. So when we took a family trip there last week, Tiffani and I just had to pop in. We'd already eaten lunch, so we had dessert and we highly recommend the Lemon Tart Cake. They have loose teas in labeled glass canisters. They allow you to open the canisters and catch their aroma before choosing. We chose a Peach-Apricot tea, which was absolutely wonderful.
The Tea Room is beautiful and our hostess was so attentive. Can't wait to go back and experience Afternoon or High Tea! We witnessed 3 couples (Yes! Men go to Tea Houses too!) enjoying High Tea and their table was filled with a myriad of delights. We'll take our appetites!
