Sewing with Cookie

Fun times ahead! Tiffani has wanted to learn how to sew for some time now and she was blessed yesterday by Cookie, who gave her a sewing machine (and books, magazines & material) and has graciously told Tiffani that she'll help her with projects in the future. She'll work on some easier items first like blankets and simple skirts. Looking forward to her finished projects!

Mrs. Hummy was away from her nest this morning,
so Tiffani braved it on the step ladder, reached way up high
and took these pictures of the eggs.

Hummingbird Nest

I was talking with Tiffani in the living room this afternoon and saw a hummingbird hovering by the window above our piano. We very often see them rest on a branch, but it just it didn't look the same from afar. I walked closer and found her sitting in her tiny nest. We'll watch for her to fly away and see if we can get pictures of her eggs...

Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow,
nor reap nor gather into barns,
